We started Methodical to take your dreams and help make them a reality. Together, with more than 30 years experience in construction and design we can do just that.

Josh Cato is a pisces with a deep passion for all things art, design, and experiential. Josh grew up learning much through osmosis surrounded by family in construction and a grandmother who was an interior decorator with an affinity for window treatments. From working the pedal on the sewing machine and crocheting to filling in holes and carrying stacks of shingles up a ladder much was gained and an apparent solid base of knowledge was formed when put into professional practice. An aspiring artist from a young age Josh has experimented with many mediums, projects, and creative opportunities. Josh attended the College of Charleston and lived in the area for the better part of a decade working in hospitality, events, and live shows and creating a life with his now wife Carly Ridgeway. Josh and Carly made a move to Greenville to try new things and Josh transitioned to a career in real estate, while successful he longed for a more fulfilling creative outlet and life outside the office again. Josh soon made pursuit to return to events and interiors and the ability to provide a service to build cool things people dream up. Josh is prepared with experience and a desire to provide the the most impactful product for you or your client.

Carly Ridgeway has over 20 years experience in production, construction & events. She graduated College of Charleston with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre. And then a Graduate Certificate in Arts Management through the Masters of Public Administration program. She has worked in scene shops across the country building all kinds of scenery both for non-profit and for-profit organizations. She then worked for Technical Event Company in Charleston and continued to hone her skills in weddings, corporate, and day of event setups around the country. After moving to the upstate of SC, she continues to build, design, and teach and is ready to create your dreams.
